Chapter 72- The Royal Negotiator
A group of men on horses were approaching a huge camp of soldiers set up on barren land close to a hills-hide. Leading the group of men were two men, clad in the kingdom's soldier outfits. They looked pale, their journey had taken half a day and both men were exhausted.
As the two approached, a man had spotted them from a distance and stood to take a good look. He squinted his eyes, glabeller lines showing on his hairy face. Behind him, a few soldiers stood neatly.
"Your Majesty has returned," the man said nonchalantly.
"General, Erick Vohn," Pete got off the horse, throwing back the reigns, "the message has been delivered as instructed."
"Good, I have since stabilised things over here, but who is this fella?" Erick sneered as he glanced at Jake.

Jake's triumph was to be celebrated tonight. An elder picked up a glass and cheerfully said, "to the negotiator, for successfully retreating the enemy back to the barrier." "To the negotiator!" Everyone else shouted in unison and gulped down their wine.

The Prince shot up onto his feet, starring daggers into Jake. "You!" The Prince was appalled, "it's you!" Everyone in the building was surprised at the Princes out burst.
