Chapter 19

After another ten minutes of sitting in the cafe trying to calm her pounding head, Aurora decided to leave and go drop off the phone. Mitchel lived in a small run-down apartment in the middle city. He got good money for all the work he did or her parents but it all went into crypto or new tech he wanted.

He was basically a hermit and although she had only met him a couple of times she could deduce that he was an interesting character.

Standing outside of his door she could already smell it. Cringing slightly, she raised her hand and knocked on the door. It took her a full five minutes of impatiently knocking on the door before it was opened.

Wrapped in a blanket with messy hair and a very foul smell, Mitchel poked his head through the threshold.
