Aurora patted around for her phone on her bed. Her arm swished aimlessly on the fabric as she tried to feel for it but couldn't. Trying a few times, she was able to push herself up from her position so that her torse was on the bed. Finally being able to reach her phone she called her mom.
"Mom," she croaked into the phone. Her hand trembled trying to keep it up so she just put on speaker and laid it on her bed.
"Hm, Princess, what is it? We're in the middle of something."

Aurora froze. She could not see the person fully but their face was prominent. Their eyes rested on hers. She didn't move and just looked at them.
