CHAPTER 30 - Searching for Answers
Clayton looked up from the book that he is skimming through inside the Lycan Royal Archive, his eyes bloodshot from sleepless nights to be able to get to the bottom of the thing bothering him since he came back from breaking into Gavin Saville’s residence.
“Any luck?” He asked, his voice hoarse. He turned when he heard no response from Lily. He saw her sleeping deeply with her head on the table, her arms covering her face. He stood up and put his jacket over her, protecting her from the cold before he walked towards one window and looked out at the starry, night sky.
He then looked down and saw wolves from different packs going around the castle grounds. He turned back towards the table he occupied with Lily and looked at the pile of books which contains the recordings of wolves around fifty years ago. The book opened in front of Lily, while she is sleeping deeply is about the history of the Saville’s.
