Roman had dropped me off a little early, I blamed it on the night's events. But really, I was eager to get home and fuck around with these powers, so I didn’t mind. I had always wondered why my mother and I had platinum, a precious metal, colored eyes when no one else I had ever met did.

I had always heard the stories of Reavers and their precious metal obsessions. How their eyes and voices matched, but never put it together until now. I can't be just a Wolf, I had to be something more.

I could do the things Raziel did. Well, some of them, sort of. I wasn't sure, but I was determined to find out and try again. I got home and changed out of my dress into a gold sports bra and sweatpants. I was becoming fond of the color. I may be a little biased though because gold reminded me of him.

I sat on my bed and closed my eyes. I was determined to make a flaming green fireball. I concentrated as hard as I could and tried to force it to form, but nothing happened. I tried
