Chapter 10

Bella’s eyes open, and she realizes that this place is not her home. Then she remembers everything that happened last night, including how she and Evan argued and Evan threw her out of his car in the pouring rain. She was alone on that dark road and sat on a bench. Her body was as cold as ice, and she could no longer even feel her hands. Everything was numb, and then suddenly darkness fell before her eyes. When Bella wakes up, she finds herself in a strange room with unfamiliar surroundings.

She looks at the room carefully, and she is familiar with this room; it was Evan's room. Then she looks at herself, and she finds herself in one of Evan's big, loose t-shirts. Had Evan changed her clothes?
