Bella’s eyes open, and she realizes that this place is not her home. Then she remembers everything that happened last night, including how she and Evan argued and Evan threw her out of his car in the pouring rain. She was alone on that dark road and sat on a bench. Her body was as cold as ice, and she could no longer even feel her hands. Everything was numb, and then suddenly darkness fell before her eyes. When Bella wakes up, she finds herself in a strange room with unfamiliar surroundings.She looks at the room carefully, and she is familiar with this room; it was Evan's room. Standing beside Jackson and Evelyn, Bella was conversing about work. Bella had kept what had happened the previous night a secret from Evelyn, fearing that she would become enraged. However, as they continued talking, Bella couldn't shake the feeling of guilt that was eating away at her. She was just praying that no one would find out she was at Evan's house last night, especially her office colleagues, because it would call her character into question. She knew she had made a mistake by going to Evan's house and spending the night there. Bella tried to focus on the conversation at hand, but her mind kept drifting back to the events of the previous night. She knew she had to come up with a plan to keep her secret safe, no matter what it took.After discussing for a while, all of the staff bow when they meet their boss, and Bella realizes who has arrived. Although she had resolved today that she needed to remain away from Evan, no matter what happened, she would not go in front of him.
