Viviana had me whipped with her puppy-eyed look. I couldn’t deny anything she said. I had to let her wander on the premises of The Samara. But I was restless. Moon had been trying to calm me down, but I was over the edge.

“Moon, you can link with Miracle, right? Connect with her and ask about Viviana’s whereabouts.” I almost ordered Moon. He sighed in the back of my mind.

I wasted nearly an hour pacing back and forth in the pack office. Noah had been to Goddess knows where! That brat! He always sneaked around in times of need. I rubbed my palms and waited for Moon to reach Miracle.

He growled after a few seconds. Those seconds passed like years.

“I tried. But Miracle is out of reach.” Moon mumbled in a low incoherent voice.

“What do you mean? You can’t reach Miracle? But you marked her, and she did too. Why can’t you reach her?&rdquo
