Skylers POV

As I gasp for air, my heart pounding in my chest, I struggle to regain my composure. The war had taken its toll on me, leaving me with haunting nightmares and a constant state of unease. The memories of the battles, the loss, and the fear had become ingrained in my mind, making it difficult to distinguish between reality and the horrors of the past.

The sound of medical equipment beeping and the distant cries of pain create a symphony of chaos that threatens to overwhelm me.

But amidst the chaos, I spot my companions. Their familiar faces bring a sense of comfort and stability to my shaken state. Sarah, with her kind eyes and gentle touch, had been my rock throughout the war.
