Chapter 66

**Scarlett's POV**

Tears welled up in my eyes when I heard those words from him. It really felt good to have someone care for me like this. I didn't know what to say and kissed him this time around. When I pulled out, I covered my face and he chuckled.

"I love you," He said.

"I love you more." I answered and he tucked a strand of my hair behind my ears.

"You're off to the office?" He asked and I nodded. "Let's go together then."

I wanted to complain that what if people saw us together, but remembered what he had told me.

"Let me get my purse and lock the door." I said.

I rushed in, grabbed my purse and keys before stepping out. After locking the door, he intertwined his fingers with mine and we started leaving the palace. As we walked by, the maids kept staring at us and murmuring amongst themselves.

I arched up my ears and was able to hear some of the things they were saying.

"Are they together now?"

"Oh my goodness, she's so lucky."
