Audrey’s POV:

Everyone had not still gotten over the case of Erik and how strangely it ended. Erik, who had gone through the efforts of escaping the dungeons and fleeing, had returned to the camp all by himself – well at least it was what most people thought, only I and Shantel knew the truth about the whole turn of events and I intended to keep it that way.

I knew Kaden would wonder how it had all happened but I was not willing to say anything to him, not yet at least and as we sat together in his office talking about not just Erik’s case but the entire events of the past few days, I allowed Kaden to wonder how Erik had suddenly had a change of mind and returned to the pack even after he had sent a troop after him.
