Chapter 78

Audrey’s POV:

The excitement of feeling stronger waned and was replaced with irritation when I remembered the position I’d met Kaden and Shantel in.

Whenever I closed my eyes or even blinked, I would see them embracing, would see how close they’d been with their arms circled around each other and it still made me see red.

Pure red rage.

…and I hated Kaden for it. Hated that he had the ability to make me feel different strong emotions and could also use it to his advantage.

I also hated that he didn’t feel any form of remorse for what he’d done. He didn’t try to explain, neither could he even look me in the eye.

After my hands had totally healed themselves, I pushed the door open, stormed inside my room and slammed the door shut behind me with so much force. It shook on its hinges but I paid no attention to it instead it only seemed to fuel my anger even more.
