Audrey’s POVI could hear very audibly the rumbling sounds of my stomach echoing as if the sounds were produced from outside of my body. It rumbled noisily and constantly as I sat down on the cold hard floor of the dungeon which was pitch black with darkness. Chapter 86I laid down asleep in my dark cell almost lifeless, tortured in pain. Tired, sore and famished, I was abruptly awoken by the familiar stroke of whip on my back by someone inside my cell room. The force of the strike jerked me forward and I let out a muffled cry absent of tears. My eyes fluttered open one eyelid at a time and they met the harsh bright light that hung above me and I squinted in pain. I tried to sit up but I could feel my head spin so I held it with both my hands, my chains clashing together. As I struggled to revive, I wiped water off my face, my shackles clanging noisily. I tried to remember the events before then and I recalled being taken out of my cell room and to the courtroom where I was told by Erik and the nurse responsible for Kaden’s care that Kaden had died.
