CHAPTER 83 - KAEL

After the whole night of traveling far east of Casterfall City, Kael and Robert had finally reached the White Forest. A vast forest it was… bigger than the Dark Woods. The trunks of the trees, with barks as black as a crow, reached higher than any woods Kael had seen. Looking up, the thick branches above had completely prevented the morning light from passing through. White fog lingered in the depths of the woods, with loud silence deafening their ears.

As they rode their horses through the dark trees, Kael’s memory of last night’s horror was still vivid. He thought sadly of those three warriors who had been kidnapped as he had no idea where they had been taken. And wondering about it, his tired brain could not keep with him any longer. His eyes became heavy as he never had his rest for two days straight. The fatigue in his muscles screamed with ache and pain. His shoulder swelled because of exerting it too much last night. He became a living corpse.
