Ferre Gola's song Sens Interdit was playing, good thing the music wasn't loud. I opened the door and my aunt walked in with a sad expression. I could see tears at the corner of her eyes. She must have been fighting to hold it back but could not.
She had two sacks with her filled to the brim with what she had purchased in the market.
I was a bit stunned on seeing the tears.
" Auntie, what's wrong?" I asked with voice full of concern. I quickly paused the music using the remote.
" Leave me." My aunt said in a weak voice which was I knew she didn't mean what she said.
I walked up and hugged her from behind, something I knew she likes being done to.
