Chapter Seventy One - Nauseous

As the sun rose on the new day, I could feel every muscle in my body protesting from the wild celebration we had the previous night. It was as if they were dancing to the rhythm of our joy.

Little did I know, they were all in on it, anticipating the moment he would ask me that nostalgic question once again. And so, they conspired to throw us a grand party, a celebration of love and commitment.

Initially, I thought it was going to be a farewell gathering for him, as he had recently quit his job. But it turned out to be a party for both of us now that we are going to get married soon once again.

Amidst the vibrant crowd, our son, Tain stood at the center of it all, his laughter filling the air. Although he was too young to comprehend the occasion's significance, his pure heart resonated with the joyous atmosphere.

He chuckled and clapped his tiny hands, unaware of the intricacies of adult life but basking in the love that surrounded us.
