Eero’s perspective

Luna Vera playfully moved her eyebrow in excitement as she waited for me to say something to her, but her offer hasn't sunk on my head yet, and I am still processing it.

“What do you think? I know that we are not exactly the perfect parents for you, but trust me, dear. Your father and I loved you.”

Luna Vera held my hand to further add sincerity in her first appeal, but I can see through her. I know that she wants something from me in return.

A familiar clacking of heels against the wooden floor of our kitchen made me turn to the arc door, the entrance, and exit of this part of the main house.
