Chapter 31

“I wish all mistakes could be fixed. Let me go so that you can get some rest, I brought my card just so you can easily get whatever you think she needs tomorrow,”

Luca said as he stood up, brought out his black card, and handed it over to her, he trusted her enough to know that she would do only what was required.

“Good night, Luca,”

She let out. He saw himself out and walked back to the main house, up into his room, and to the mini-bar in his room where he kept the alcohol that helped him go to sleep every night. He had medications to help him fall asleep but he got so used to them that they no longer walked. The first few months after he woke up from his coma after he finally buried his family, he couldn’t sleep at all. The doctor had to prescribe sleeping pills for him and for a while, they worked but stopped working sooner than he expected and even after increasing the dosage a couple of times, he just couldn’t fall asleep without the nightmares so he had resulted to drinking bef
