Chapter 30

Luca walked out of the room and instead of just going to his room, he decided to go speak with Maria concerning what she had called him for earlier, he would have gone shopping for her by himself but he couldn't. He walked out of the main house towards Maria’s side of the house. When he had built this mansion all those years ago, he had made sure to build a separate one for his staff so that they would feel at ease, since he sent the other women in the mansion away after what happened with Emily, only Maria lives in the female quarters, he had told her a couple of times that she can move into the main house if she feels alone there but the stubborn old woman refused so he just let her have her way.

“Maria,”

He called when he got to the entrance. Even though he owned the house, his mother taught him to always be respectful and not barge in on anyone, he rang the bell and waited, and the door flew open a few minutes later to reveal Maria who was already in her nightwear.

“Oh, Luca, wh
