“If you ever dare to do that again, I will kill you before those kidnappers do,” Roth sat on his other side, saying furiously.

“And I will help him do that,” Eleanor said just as furiously, holding up a warning finger. Tristan tried to look scared, “No, no, I was just saying how happy I am to see both of my best friends get along.”

Eleanor folded back her finger and Roth sunk back into his place, with a grin, “Just wait till you hear what a little rascal your sophisticated little Miss Eleanor Psychology is.”

Tristan watched both of them with a peaceful smile, listening to Roth tell him Eleanor’s lock-picking and Eleanor telling him about how Roth had been scared of getting caught.
