She looked at his hand in front of her. He was trembling. She saw that, and her mind was made up. For life meant forever. She looked into his golden eyes as she smiled at him. She couldn’t imagine what forever meant, but she was willing to see as long as forever was with him. She reached out and placed her small hand in his. He looked down at it almost slightly confused. When he looked into her face, it showed more. He was confused as to why she would choose him.

1The office that she worked in was a flurry of activity. Everything seemed to go wrong from everyone’s day to day work to the computers going down, and the IT department couldn’t find the problem. Her own work had been done, but when she found out that nothing from that day had been saved to the office’s mainframe, she knew a week’s work of research had been lost.
