Aaro’s pov

Storm wanted to kill me. I broke down crying in the back of the food truck, unable to hold everything in that had happened today. Alpha Lex was the first person I had ever killed, and I looked down at my hands that were covered in blood and saw a faint burn mark from the silver knife.

I had vowed to slice his throat one day, but it was far less satisfying than I thought. I didn’t want to fucking leave like that. I didn’t want to leave Eve behind like that. She was wounded badly, and now she was the one that would be covering for my mess.

I had made her life even harder. I love Eve; she was like a mother to me, and I had hoped she could change Storm’s mind.

"Maybe she can, in time." Delta said.

But what if I didn’t have any fucking time left? Would Storm really be able to kill me?

I really hope she gets to explain to Storm the misunderstanding with his moanf the mother is not locked up to long and she gets to kill Ruth savagely for locking her up and Storm kills Jackson.
