“Yeah, sure.” Lizzie says politely and I too nod in agreement.
She then gestures for us to follow us.
“I will have to warm it up in the microwave, you two should take a shower while I do that. The bathroom is right upstairs, second door to the left.” She says.

We do as she says and follow her directions. After a shower, we both step out feeling like new people. She gave us some clothes which were very comfortable. She told us that they were her grandchildren’s clothes.
“This marsh potato is heavenly, Miss Marilyn.” I say after I swallow a spoonful of the dish.
She smiles brightly, obviously feeling a sense of pride for her dish.
