Chapter 30: Shower

“You’ve been eating weird foods ever since you woke up, Annalise,” Ciara uttered, and when I glanced at her for a moment, her worried facial expression welcomed me.

“What?” I asked while eating a strawberry that was chopped into bite-size pieces with banana and chocolate on top. Zeno also places some nuts, marshmallows, and edible gold.

Seeing the food that Zeno prepared, my mouth watered, so I didn’t think twice about tasting it. If I was going to rate this, it’s an excellent job, 100/100.

“It’s weird to dip the banana in chocolate, Annalise,” she muttered, but I just shook my head at her. Some of our friends were just looking at me, enjoying the food that Zeno prepared.

I don’t know why they’re concerned about me eating mangoes that were dipped into sweet shrimp sauce, then proceeding to eat strawberries and bananas with chocolate on top and sprinkled with marshmallows and nuts.

“You skipped heavy meals, Annalise,” Jake uttered, one of Zeno’s friends. His full name is Adrielle Jake
