All The Kings Men

Godric POV

It only took three days for what foretold to come true.

Alex came barging into my office the night before stating the Elders wanted an audience with me.

I asked him to prepare the conference room downstairs. There were nine elders and they weren’t all going to comfortably fit in this office.

The next morning we all sat at an oval-shaped table on the first floor of my house. Two of the Elders called this same place home. They lived on the second floor which was designated for guests since they were always traveling.

“Elder John and Elder Elias. I didn’t know you two were back in town.” They had been helping watch over the rebuilding process for the pack my father died defending.

Zayas parents would be heading there next to ensure a proper medical facility was in place before people start migrating back to their homes.

“We came as soon as we heard about what happened with Evander.” Elder Elias answered.
