Chapter 39 The revelation of the past

A few days had elapsed. Natasha was happy with her sons, although she missed Sean, who had not returned yet from a business trip. The shooting had also started, and she was doing quite well. Easton and the crew were delighted with her performance, while Amy didn’t leave a chance to belittle her. Natasha didn't mind her hurtful words because she knew there would always be competition in any field.

She had another busy day ahead of her, and there was a night shoot too. She wouldn’t be able to return until it was too late. She instructed the housekeeper to take good care of the kids and ensure that they slept on time. She also reminded Jack to look after Johnson, who was eating his cereals.

"Mommy, I am a big boy now, and I know what my responsibilities are," Jack said with authority as if he were an adult. "Johnson is safe with me. I will read him a bedtime story and put him to bed. And don’t worry. We will finish our homework as well. You concentrate on your shoot."
