Flashback I

"How many days have I been out of my mind? One? Two? Or has it been a week? I don't know, but I feel different now. Mama always leaves every night and goes home the next morning, which is unusual. She doesn't hurt me anymore, and that's a big thing, but I can't help but feel bothered.

"Xhiaaaaa!" Aira, my friend, called me. I saw her running from the hallway, so I quickly stopped. The other students looked at me, so I couldn't help but feel shy.

"Don't scream!" I reprimanded her while hitting her softly.

Aira frowned and held out the thick book she was holding. I shuddered and laughed.

"You're like that because the man from the other department is flirting with you!"

I rolled my eyes before proceeding to walk. "Where did you pick up that gossip?"

I don't know if this girl is really just a certified gossip or if the news is spread all over the campus. After all, David was always tailing me last week, so I wouldn't be surprised if it spread. He's too famous, so we can't be together; I d
