31. The Bloody Movement

The following day, Nevea drove to Stormsire alone. The journey from the Grouver took a bit longer than usual since the traffic was terrible. During her journey, Nevea could not stop thinking about the mess she was in. Somehow, whenever she thought about a solution, it always led to death. As if it was her fate. She sighed heavily and hit the steering wheel aggressively.

Deciding to empty her mind, she focused on driving safely. Around thirty minutes later, her car came to a complete halt as the numerous iron gate with a tag covered with lots of spider webs entered her field of vision.

WELCOME TO STORMSIRE.

Nevea read it loudly, then continued her journey to the most dangerous city in Rimore. As she drove past several buildings, she noticed numerous people gazing at her car with sinister glints. Nevea assumed they might know she was not a vampire. They'd either wanted to suck her dry, rob her, or maybe both.
