Chapter 14 Mia’s Senior

After the Four Heavenly Kings became zombies, they still kept the brightly-colored hair they had before death. Looking at them was very upsetting.

Lucas retrieved his cleaver from the System Space, then successfully made the Four Heavenly Kings all bald.

Ding…

“It has been detected that the host has named a zombie. You have received a Super Treasure Chest. Would you like to open it?”

“Open it.”

“You’ve received 25 Gene Points, 25 Strength Points, 25 Speed Points, and 25 Defense Points.

“Congratulations on becoming a Level 4 Awakened One.”

Lucas was a little gratified. He had originally thought he could only become a Level 4 Awakened One after opening a Zombie Treasure Chest tomorrow.

“You have a Rank 1 Zombie. How could I have forgotten?” Mia mumbled through her lips.

She inwardly heaved a sigh and wiped the sweat on her forehead. If not for him, she really did not know what she should have done.

Beep beep beep…

Just then, the communication watch in Mia’s hand sounded yet again.

After Mia answered it, a virtual screen appeared before her eyes, but it was no longer that very beautiful woman on the screen. It was a very handsome young man instead.

“Mia, we’re here. Come down quickly.”

“Yes, Claud.”

After hanging up, Mia was overjoyed. She looked at Lucas and said, “Sir, my master is here to get me. I have to go now.”

“Go then.”

Lucas waved a hand. He only wanted Mia to show him the way anyway. Now that he was already in East District, Mia returning to Annan Base City was a good thing for him.

“Sir, what about you?” Mia looked at Lucas curiously.

“Remember—you and I don’t have any relationship. Where I go has nothing to do with you,” Lucas said slowly.

Hearing this, Mia was a little glum. She only wanted to ask.

“In that case, I’ll go down to see my master. I’ll see you again if fate wills it.”

After saying this, Mia left the room. The moment she stepped out of the room, she turned back to look at Lucas and found him looking at the Four Heavenly Kings.

Mia walked out a little forlornly!

Lucas stared at the Four Heavenly Kings. He did not know if they kept their original abilities.

He examined his zombies and noticed none of the male zombies could fuse with the Four Heavenly Kings.

He did not think too much about it and stored Biggy and the Four Heavenly Kings in his System Space.

Lucas prepared to leave too. He wanted to continue finding zombies to fuse.

“Ah!”

Suddenly, Mia’s voice traveled out.

Lucas swiftly ran toward her voice. Although he and Mia did not have any relationship, he did not want something to happen to Mia either.

Not long after, Lucas saw Mia surrounded by around twenty zombies.

Mia was a Level 7 Awakened One and was naturally much stronger than these zombies.

However, ever since she saw her classmates be eaten by zombies one after another in the East District, shadows clouded her heart.

“Mia, don’t be afraid. I’m here.”

Suddenly, a voice pierced Lucas’s ears.

Lucas looked in the voice’s direction. A young man reached Mia’s side.

The young man was very handsome and looked one or two years older than Mia. Lucas had seen this man through the communication watch’s virtual screen.

“Yet another high-level Awakened One,” Lucas mused.

Although high-level Awakened Ones and Rank 1 Evolved Ones were on very different levels, facing these zombies was simply too easy for them.

Not long after, the twenty-or-so zombies had all been killed by the young man.

“Mia, are you alright?” The young man looked at Mia, concerned.

“Claud, what about my master?” Mia asked, still a little shocked.

“Ms. Maren encountered a White Lotus guardian. She asked me to come get you.”

Lucas narrowed his eyes. “A White Lotus guardian?”

Could it be the Scorpion Guardian that the Four Heavenly Kings had mentioned earlier?

The White Lotus was a cult that had been established right after the zombie virus had spread, but it did not seem to be a great organization.

Lucas felt this was a little interesting. He decided to ask and get clear answers.
