Chp 4 Pt. 5 The Party
Katerina
James gets closer and as I feel his fangs graze my skin as I let out a cry. I expect to feel the awful pain of his fangs piercing my skin, but quickly realize I feel nothing. I look up to find James being held up by his throat by another wolf. At least I think he is a wolf, but I don’t smell anything.
“It’s against werewolf law to force a mark,” says the stranger in a low growl.
“She has been begging for it,” he claims.
“It didn’t seem that way to me. Do you want this wolf to claim you,” the stranger asks me and I can’t seem to find my voice so I shake my head no at him.
“There, you have your answer. Now leave before I decide to kill you myself.”
