LEONA'S POV:

Zach Newton was murdered at Flinch's property thirteen years ago. His family seeks justice for his death. But the police closed the case because it was proven that a wild animal was the culprit. Young Zach disappeared into the woods that day and was found mangled days after.

I counted back the years. Darren was just sixteen then, and Don Rafael was still perfectly fit. I don't believe they could do such a thing as Zach's parents accused them.

Another police file showed up in my research.

"Oh, God!" I gasp. It was Zach's photo. Even his face was torn. Brutally murdered. His family recognized him by the clothes he wore the day he disappeared; the DNA proves it.

The police suspected a bear, but from the looks of his body, it could be a lion, a tiger, or a wolf. I zoomed in on the marks on his remains, there were deep scratches, and it was impossible that it came from a lion or bear's teeth.
