Gale’s POV

I followed that so-called friend of mine towards a hospital room. I can’t believe, at any point in the last six years, he couldn’t drop in any conversation about him being a Wolf King.

I mean, I knew he had a strong aura. I assumed he was an Alpha. But never would I have thought he was a Wolf King. How stupid am I? What was he actually doing out there? We slept rough nearly every night, bathed in freezing icy lakes, we stole toiletries and now I find out he is minted. I will give him a piece of my mind at some point today.
