Nathan’s POV

I’m surprised the screaming didn’t shatter the windows. It was that ear piercing. The noise reached the ears of everyone present in the hospital canteen. I ran upstairs after Dawson. Following him into the room, we left the kids in. He went directly to Eden.

Evie was with Max, holding a pillow under his head, trying not to let him hit it too hard on the floor. Rayne grabbed a blanket and was holding Jaxon close to him for warmth. I could only watch helplessly as my children suffered. I didn’t even know what they were suffering from.
