Chapter 40: Unexpected Visit, Coincidental Save

When he returned to the bedroom, Ruth was already gone.

"I need to understand what happened last night," he thought staring at the empty bed.

He got ready and left the apartment for work. Mrs Brown was relaxing in the garden as she admires the environment. As the days pass by, her health gets better except for her leg which has refused to heal. She thought she would put the walking aid down at some point but it didn't look like that was not going to happen.

Ruth has been busy trying to understand what was happening but she still made time to check up on her.

At Mrs Hayford's apartment, Chantel was still waiting patiently for Ruth to call with news of Mrs Brown's eye issue but that appears to be taking forever. She had changed the medication several times to get the results she wanted but for some reason even though Ruth assured her of using the medication, nothing was happening.
