Chapter 47: What happened?

"Mum, Aunty Cassandra," she called out and entered the bedroom and froze

"I am not sure what happened but I found her like this?" Cassandra reported holding a wet tower in hand

Ruth got closer and felt Mrs Brown's forehead and she had a fever. She blamed herself for her condition as she concluded acting code towards her may have triggered this.

"I have some money with me, let's take her to the hospital," Ruth said and called an ambulance.

She had a fever and was also unconscious. Ruth got into the ambulance with her mother and Cassandra followed them to the hospital in a taxi.

She sat on the side and watched as the paramedics attended to her. They soon arrived a the hospital and her mother was put on a stretcher and quickly pushed into the emergency room. Ruth waited patiently for information on what was happening to her mother.
