Chapter 53: United

Nick had found the truth about prom and wants Ruth back. He has sent Katherine who joined hands with others to plot the evil of prom and perhaps she saw an opportunity and took it as she has always loved Nick. With the truth out, Katherine was made to leave Nick's home.

Ruth on the other hand, after going through all the torture at the hands of Nick, he was not ready to go back. She just couldn't believe Nick's confession to be genuine. He lied to her before and it was just to trap her in an unhappy marriage. She just saw it as a plan to get her back into the unhappy life. She was determined not to fall for his tricks this time.
