Chapter 11 - Samael

I knew she was having a hard time with the bloodlust, but drinking from Inez should have sated her for at least a little while. Perhaps it’s her blood magic making it so difficult, but when she pounces on the prisoner and Danika forces herself forward, I realize it’s not that at all. I watch as Aurora shifts into Danika, her wolf form is huge, taking up most of the room. Her silky black coat ripples as she shakes out her body and her fangs sink into the throat of the prisoner.

Danika is a vampire.

How the fuck is that possible? Werewolves have turned into vampires before but the transformation always only affects the human side, the wolf remains the same. Danika drains the man of his blood and when she’s done his head is detached from his body. She slowly raises her gaze to mine and I’m met with two deep crimson irises, swirling with thirst.
