LXIII: Maybe It's Fated
Maya, still stuck in Russia with her flight canceled, felt defeated. No matter what she thought of, she couldn’t find a plausible reason as to why this was happening to her. All she knew was she was stuck there, and there was nothing she could do. Maya was definitely in a bad situation.
The woman in charge tried to sympathize with her. She glanced at Maya and said with concern, “Once again, I’m really sorry, I just… I tried my best.”
Maya was so frustrated, but she knew she could not blame the woman in charge. She was just that unlucky to be in a bad situation with airports most of the time.
“I know,” Maya sadly said before she took a deep breath to calm down, else she would start sobbing. When she felt better, she smiled and said gratefully, “I know you did. Thank you. Sorry for taking too much of your time.”
Maya clenched her fist. What was she going to do now?
