His inhuman roar died in his throat and was replaced by a hiss of dissolving flesh. As his body started to crumble there was a smile on his face and his eyes were interlocked with that of River’s. He slowly turned to ash that swirled in the air like a ghostly snowstorm. His screams, if there were any, were lost in the noise of the battle.
