As I woke up from my deep sleep, I could feel light pouring into my eyes. I heard beeping and the sound of people talking in the background. "She's awake. Oh thank god" said a deep voice. I sat up and rubbed my eyes to see Ryan standing at the foot of my bed talking with my manager Vicky. "Darling you're awake" Vicky said as she smiled at me and sat down her huge binder on a chair. As we were driving up a hill to get to my old childhood home for thanksgiving, everything started to fall into place. We drove past a small building with a crooked sign and a broken basketball net in the front "I went to elementary school there" I said while pointing out the window. December 31stI looked at my red lipstick from the other side of the mirror and liked what I saw. I managed to get my hair to a pin straight form instead of the usual frizzy madness. January 23rd; interview day I felt nervous. Extremely nervous. I didn't want to sit in front of a camera and an interviewer and then embarrass myself.
