As we were driving up a hill to get to my old childhood home for thanksgiving, everything started to fall into place. He held my hand and stroked it "I remember my dad coming into my room at around 4:30 in the morning saying my mom died in the hospital. December 31stI looked at my red lipstick from the other side of the mirror and liked what I saw. I managed to get my hair to a pin straight form instead of the usual frizzy madness. Little did I know, that I'd be spending two weeks in the hospital beside my comatose boyfriend. Little did I know that I would miss him more than anything else in the whole wide world, even though he was right beside me. It was 8:30 in the morning on a bright warm May Day.
