Asher’s POV

“Where the hell is she?” I asked as soon as I stepped out of the elevator of the floor with the VIP patients. After I talked with Alex Dunn, I called the hospital as well and I told the doctor to move her here.

As I walked from the elevator with my driver closely behind me, I saw Emily walked out of the last door on the left side of the corridor and she frowned as she saw me. Must be surprised to see me here.

I didn’t care what she was thinking. I have every right to be here as the next person in that room.

“What are you doing here?” She asked me as she walked to me with anger simmering behind her eyes, those eyes that looked like they could murder me if care wasn’t taken.

“Ask me that question after I’ve seen my wife to be sure she’s all right.” I said and she hissed, grabbing my left wrist.

Emily was small compared to my big frame. As a matter of fact, she stood about an inch or two below May, so she had no leverage against me when it came to strength, but I let her stop
