Rae’s POV
Jeong lets out a sigh “Yes unfortunately.” as he gazes out the window “What became of this world is the whole reason why I refuse to bring an heir to life. There is no hope for the future.”
He sounds like he is truly disgusted with this world. If he really hates the whole thing then why did he decide to claim me if by claiming me he went against everything he believes in? Rae’s POVWaking to the morning light filling the room all I could feel was content. Not only do I feel well rested, but I got to see Mary in my dreams. I may not have wanted it to end, but regardless I was happy. Sitting up I wonder how I moved to this side of the bed under the covers. Jeong’s POV I had a difficult time falling asleep last night which lead me to my study to do some research. I need to asses her powers and figure out what they are. I’ve never in my life seen or heard anyone capable of casting a multi colored power. With enough training sure someone can cast multiple types of powers but they are always distinctly separate. Hers seem to be combined some how. Cradling my head in my hands as I stare down at the open book on my desk. There is nothing, nothing at all. Rae’s POV I was terrified of Nathan’s sudden outburst even though I know it was totally my fault.
