Chapter 41: Third Dream
Jeong’s POV
After discussing the next step of our plan to reform society a knock was heard at the door.
The door opens and Jean sticks her head through “Dinner is ready.” leaving soon after.
Nathan throws his arms up while leaning back as he stretches on the couch “Ah that felt good.” then stands up in a flash “I’m starving lets eat.”
We all leave the study heading towards the dinning room, but I stop in my tracks when we reach the stairs. I message Jean “Is Rae with you?”
Jean answers “No, I let her relax in her room. I gave her a communication device and told her to call if she needed anything. Is something wrong?”
“No, thank you Jean.” as I cut the link with her. I continue to look up at the stairs “You two go ahead, I’ll be right back.” I head up the stairs towards Rae’s room.

Jeong’s POV I had a difficult time falling asleep last night which lead me to my study to do some research. I need to asses her powers and figure out what they are. I’ve never in my life seen or heard anyone capable of casting a multi colored power. With enough training sure someone can cast multiple types of powers but they are always distinctly separate. Hers seem to be combined some how. Cradling my head in my hands as I stare down at the open book on my desk. There is nothing, nothing at all. I’ve searched dozens of books and there is nothing about her power. I suppose I can just ask her, but does she even know? She’s managed to figure something out at least, right? I look towards the window and realize it’s morning already. I’ve been up all night, I wonder if she’s awake yet. Rae’s POV I was terrified of Nathan’s sudden outburst even though I know it was totally my fault. But, after everyone’s reassuring along with his constant apology that knew no end I eventually gave in and started trying to get to know him. Breakfast was different then what I was use to. Rae’s POV I’ve been so wrapped up with researching possible things to use in soap that I completely disregarded the close proximity of everyone around me.
