Everyone has taken their seats and turned their attention to us. “We have learned within our Kingdom that for every problem we have, there is a silver lining. Once again, our King and Queen prevailed, and with their victory, we gained a new King and Queen in training. A gift to our Kingdom that we all thank you for granting to us.” Sabastian bows to all of us before continuing. “When Lawler began seeing you, Elnora, in the human world during the cover of night, he started changing for the better. He started becoming the King he had always wanted to become. Then when you entered our world and completed your mark, you granted him the strength needed to be the best version of King he could be. Chapter 1- Elnora POV The surrounding darkness comforts me in ways that the sun and my daily life could never compare. I feel alive and free as I look upon the old oak tree in such a beautiful forest full of wonders. Slowly I turn around to find I am not alone in the dark. The man standing before me gives me a sense of peace and security mixed with an emotion I have not felt in many years, love. His steps are agonizingly slow as he approaches me. Chapter 3- Talvin's POV I tried to take all of the anger out of my voice when I spoke to my mother. I really tried. "The problem is," I must talk myself down from screaming at my mother in her current state, I urge myself.
