Chapter 84

We arrived at Pack's house about twenty minutes later. Tim immediately said goodbye again after dropping me off, I thanked him before he pedaled his bike again towards town.

Even though Pack's house is quite far from downtown, he always rides his bicycle everywhere.

I walked through the main gate. The front yard of Pack's house looks deserted this afternoon, maybe because the young Pack members who live here are busy with their own activities. Some are still in school, while some have started working.

As I crossed the wide yard to the front door of the house. I accidentally looked up at the row of windows on the third floor, Alex's study was on that row. By chance or something, a man's silhouette suddenly pulled back the curtains on one of the windows and looked out into the courtyard ... right at me.
