Sadness

The night I was trapped in this room, I felt my sire link fade, they were all dead and I, alive, how? It remained that way until now, for what seemed like a thousand years, I have never seen the light, adamant to wake up from my sleep.

But now, the rays of the sun penetrate through my window and peer at my face and my door is wide open.

Maybe it is the end for me, it’s time to go to hell. There wasn’t any need to be scared for my fate. I’ve been in a place worse than hell this while long.

I walked through the door and behold, it was day. It wasn’t fiery and hot like hell was supposed to be. It was normal, it felt like the earth.

“Welcome back, Darin,” A man said, and applauds followed. Did I make it to heaven? That’s very unlikely. Feeling uncomfortable and oddly weakened, I collapsed and I was lost in the darkness. Have I finally died?
