Chapter 38
Cole’s POV
She is standing right here in front of me. I bring my hand to her cheek. She closes her eyes and leans into my hand. The sparks are still there. Her presence still brings me the most imaginable comfort.
I give her a peck on her plump beautiful lips. I look into her beautiful blue eyes. We just stand there for a while staring at one another.
“I was so scared Stella. I have never been that scared in my whole life.” I tell her. “I know but you should know you can’t get rid of me that easily. I am a fighter.” She says grabbing my hand and kissing it. She then takes my finger and puts it in her mouth and sucks on it.
That is it. I pick her up bridal style and carry her up the stairs. I do not let her lay on the bed. I turn on the fireplace and strip her clothes off her and throw them into the fire pit. She smiles and bites her lip knowing how much I hate the thought of another man’s clothes on her.

Stella’s POV I am standing in the forest. Everything is going in slow motion. Wolves are running around me and blood is flying everywhere. William and my parents are there too using spells to kill as many of the rogues as they can. I just stand there stunned.
