Chapter 41

Stella’s POV

Cole has been training his wolves hard for the past three weeks. Warriors from some neighboring packs arrived last week. I was in charge of figuring out housing for them and grocery shopping for everyone.

There has been no sign of the rogue wolves and Marius. It is making me anxious just thinking about it.

Most of the women, children, and elderly have not been sent back yet. We thought it would be safer for them to stay where they are for now.

I head to the training facility to see Cole. It seems like he spends most of his time there lately. I have been eating most of my dinners with my parents and siblings. Of course, Devin has been busy with Cole, so she spends most days at the house too.

I see Cole surrounded by hundreds of warriors. He smiles when he sees me coming and excuses himself. “Hi my love.” He leans down to kiss me. He puts his hand on my not so small belly. “How’s my boy doing today”? h
