I was a little disappointed when Lexi first turned me down for a date. But when she explained why and she wouldn’t blow her school work for me I was proud of her decision. She was holding on to what is important to her and wouldn’t put it off. And I was pleased when she said she would go out with me the next day. When she walked away to check on her other customers I turned to my friends. Keeping my voice low so Lexi couldn’t hear us, I asked “ So what do you guys think?” I brought them here to meet Lexi and find out a little more about her. I told them about meeting her and our interaction.

Scott answers first “ She is more than human. I can feel it. So can Damon. Damon says he can sense a little bit of wolf in her but it is like it is asleep or something. We both feel protective though.” Freya speaks up next. “ I feel protective too. And those eyes. I thought you two were exaggerating. But wow. I feel bad for her.
